The National BookClub Conference was Phenomenal once again. It was an honor to be among so many avid African American book lovers. Everything ran smoothly, from the arrival at the Black Pearl Magazine Chocolate Social Affair hosted by Ella D. Curry (where R.A.R.E won 2nd place in ticket sales and was awarded a gift bag full of BOOKS!!!) R.A.R.E. was also the 2011 recipient of the NBCC Community Service Award. This great event was buzzing with excitement from attendees and authors alike.
This is an event that definitely should be attended by all avid readers and aspiring authors. This conference was truly a place to bring our people together for the purpose of encouraging individuals to respect, enjoy and spread the LOVE of reading!
